The most family friendly zoo near Leesburg, VA must be Leesburg Animal Park, and you’re not far away at your Bellemeade Farms Apartment.
Leesburg helps your kids get excited about animals with hands-on exhibits, feeding areas, park activities and more. Did we mention it is close? By “close” we mean three miles away from Bellemeade Farms?
Special events
Every weekend in July, the Leesburg Animal Zoo hosts a special event, live show or visitor.
July 7-8
Live Animal Shows each day at 1 p.m. let you meet the cool animals you don’t see at the park every day like a tortoise or a lizard.
July 14-15
The Great Zucchini, D.C.’s top children’s entertainer will come to the animal park each day at 10:30 a.m. No one makes the little ones laugh as hard as The Grat Zucchini. Don’t miss it.
July 21-22
A Fishing Derby takes place where the largest catch of the day wins a prize. Bring your own gear or use theirs.
July 28-29
Join the crew for Summer Arts and Crafts.
The Leesburg Animal Park is a fun way to spend summer days near your home at Bellemeade Farms and it won’t empty your wallet. Adult tickets are $10.50 and kids, 2-12, enter for $8.50.
